Welcome to Mrs. Dunklin's Classroom

My name is Hannah Dunklin, and I am honored to have your student in my class this year. Though we will explore new material and master many skills in third grade, my greatest goal is to cultivate an environment where your student feels safe and part of a community. Relationships first! I was born and raised in the Midwest and moved to Greensboro where I studied to become a teacher. I graduated from UNCG with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education. I just moved from Jacksonville, NC, where my husband was stationed in the military and I taught 3rd grade for three years there. I have two cats named Sammy and Effie—they're my babies! I enjoy spending time with my husband, Van, our friends, and our family.
